Dr. Gift Worlu, and the people of the council for what he described as an overwhelming show of love, loyalty and solidarity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the FCT Minister hails from the Obio-Akpor community.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cObio\/Akpor people are grateful people. Dr. Gift Worlu, described Wike as \u201ca gift to Obio\/Akpor, a gift to leadership, and a gift to Nigeria.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis visit is not your visit; it is our visit. It is not a time for you to tell us thank you, but a time for us to tell you thank you,<\/em>\u201d Worlu said.<\/p>\n<p>He praised Wike for mentoring leaders and facilitating several appointments for indigenes of the local government at both state and federal levels.<\/p>\n<p>Worlu described Wike as the most outstanding council chairman, the most impactful Chief of Staff, the most performing governor in the history of Rivers State and one of the most performing ministers in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Recalling the 2023 general elections, he said Wike\u2019s political direction at the time guided the people\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBecause we trusted you, we followed you. Today, it has been harvest upon harvest, appointments, projects and opportunities for our state and our local government,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that while the people of Obio\/Akpor knew where they stood regarding the presidency in 2027, they also knew where they would not go in the Rivers governorship race.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe will not go the way of ingratitude, disrespect or disloyalty,<\/em>\u201d Worlu declared.<\/p>\n<h2>Assembly Speaker Assures <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.name.ng\/news\/tinubu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tinubu <\/a>of Loyalty<\/h2>\n<p>Also speaking, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, <strong>Martin Chike Amaewhule,<\/strong> reassured President <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.name.ng\/news\/tinubu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tinubu <\/a>of the unwavering support of the people of Obio\/Akpor.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOn behalf of the people of Obio\/Akpor, we want to reassure you of our loyalty and support as we continue to support His Excellency, Mr. President,\u201d<\/em> Amaewhule said.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the President not to be distracted by critics, stressing that Nigerians who matter understand the value of his leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018We Will Do More In 2027\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Recalling the 2023 presidential election, Amaewhule said Obio\/Akpor delivered one of the highest votes for <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.name.ng\/news\/tinubu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tinubu <\/a>and promised an even stronger outing in 2027.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhen you go back, tell Mr. President that what we did in 2023, we will do even more in 2027,\u201d<\/em> he assured, offering prayers for the President\u2019s health, strength and success.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Barr. O.C.J. Okocha, SAN, described Wike as a worthy ambassador of Rivers State and Obio\/Akpor.<\/p>\n<p>He praised Wike\u2019s performance as governor and his ongoing transformation of the Federal Capital Territory.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are proud of you. We cannot thank you enough.
