The Federal Government has tasked the Super Eagles with winning the semi-final games at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Rabat, Morocco.<\/span><\/p>\n The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris in a statement released on Wednesday, January 14, said Nigerians stand in solidarity with the team.<\/span><\/p>\n According to Idris, the journey so far has been inspiring, with the Super Eagles securing victory, match after match.<\/span><\/p>\n He also noted that the members of the football team have since the beginning of the tournament showcased discipline, courage, and belief while reminding the whole world why the Super Eagles have remained one of Africa\u2019s most respected teams.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou have been here before. You know what it takes to win at this level. From past AFCON triumphs to victories against tough opponents, you have always carried Nigeria\u2019s flag with pride. Those victories were not accidents. They came from teamwork, confidence, and a fighting spirit. You have shown that same spirit in this tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs you step onto the pitch, remember that you are not alone.
