The Obidient Movement has alleged that former governors of Abia <\/a>State, led by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, are plotting to destabilize the state.<\/p>\n The Movement also asked Governor Alex <\/a>Otti to join Peter Obi in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to enjoy their undivided support.<\/p>\n The Movement, which addressed journalists on Wednesday through Abia <\/a>State spokesperson, Chibuzor Obiesili and other members, alleged that the former Abia <\/a>leaders are desperate in their bid to deliver the state to President Bola Tinubu <\/a>and the All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/p>\n According to the Obidient Movement, Otti was elected by Abia <\/a>people with the support of the \u201cObi Wave\u201d and has been performing in office and should not be distracted.<\/p>\n The Movement said it was wrong for Kalu to declare that Governor Otti will not be re-elected for a second term, a threat they described as a fight against the Abia <\/a>electorate.<\/p>\n \u201cIt has come to the public knowledge that a meeting of former governors, alongside their former commissioners, a gathering reportedly engineered by the Senator Orji Uzor.<\/p>\n \u201cThe meeting where they reportedly stated their resolution to remove Dr Alex <\/a>Otti in the 2027 general election and win Abia <\/a>State for the APC and Tinubu <\/a>respectively,\u201d Obiesili said.<\/p>\n The Obidient Movement urged Otti to join the ADC ahead of the 2027 guber election.<\/p>\n \u201cWe also want to use this opportunity call on you (Otti) to join ADC where our leader, Mr. Peter Obi, is and every other well meaning Nigerian politician is, for more united bloc votes which will not be divided,\u201d Obiesili added.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
