Gospel singer Alayo Melody has disclosed the reason why plans to fly his colleague, the late Bunmi Akinnaanu, also known as Omije Ojumi, to India for medical treatment were halted.<\/p>\n
Speaking via his Instagram page on Thursday, Alayo explained that the deceased was too weak to fly.<\/p>\n
He explained that her visa application was done three times before it was approved, but her doctors had already declared her unfit to fly.<\/p>\n
He said,\u00a0\u201cI appreciate everyone who stood by Omije Oju mi when she was sick. Prophet Sam Ojo and Prophet Taiwo Ojo really did a lot. There was a time we decided to fly her out to India and these two prophets decided to foot the bill of the visa processing and medical treatment. The application was done three times before it was approved. By the time the visa was approved, Omije was so weak and the doctors said she was not fit to fly\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n He also appealed to prophets to avoid sharing visions of death online.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to appeal to prophets to stop going on the social media and telling their followers that they saw death visions about our celebs. If you see any bad vision about anyone, please contact them privately. Everybody will d!e one day. May God bless us with long life. We shall communicate the burial arrangements for Omije soon,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Melody noted.<\/p>\n Akinnaanu died on January 12 in Lagos. She was 46 and was known for her hit song \u2018Omije Ojumi,\u2019 which became popular in Nigerian churches and Christian homes.
