The Bauchi State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is currently facing a leadership crisis following the immediate suspension of its state chairman, Hon. Hassan Haruna. <\/p>\n

This decision was reached by the party\u2019s Disciplinary Committee after a review of several allegations leveled against the chairman.<\/p>\n

The committee\u2019s resolution, which was made public in a statement on Saturday, indicates that Haruna\u2019s removal is tied to a series of internal disputes and actions considered detrimental to the party\u2019s growth in the state.<\/p>\n

According to the official press release, the party\u2019s leadership accused Haruna of a significant breach of the ADC\u2019s constitution. <\/p>\n

Furthermore, the committee highlighted his involvement in several \u201canti-party activities\u201d which they claim have undermined the unity of the Bauchi chapter. <\/p>\n

Following the announcement, the party issued a stern warning to the embattled chairman, urging him to \u201cstop parading himself in such a position\u201d to avoid further legal or disciplinary consequences.<\/p>\n

In a move to ensure that the party\u2019s operations continue without interruption, the state executive council has directed the Deputy Chairman, Mahmood Tabio, to take over the mantle of leadership. <\/p>\n

Tabio is expected to serve in an acting capacity until the party organizes a fresh election to fill the vacancy or until the pending issues surrounding Haruna\u2019s suspension are fully resolved.<\/p>\n
