The chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peter Obi, has condemned the killing of a housewife and her six children in Kano State.<\/p>\n
In a statement posted on his verified X handle on Sunday, Obi described the incident as horrifying and expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy.<\/p>\n
\u201cPolice swift action is commendable. The horrifying story of the murder of a housewife and her six children remains a deep sorrow in our hearts as a nation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like to commend the Nigerian Police for their swift action, and I pray that they extend the same positive results to other areas of crime, such as kidnapping and banditry.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf we continue to see such decisive actions from our law enforcement agencies, we will undoubtedly witness a significant decline in crime within our communities,\u201d Obi added.<\/p>\n
