Dominic Nwuzor, former manager of the late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu<\/strong>, has called on the Enugu State government to provide scholarships for the actor\u2019s children.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Nwuzor, who led the career of the comic actor for over twenty years before his death in March 2024, spoke on the appeal in Abuja.<\/p>\n He urged the state government to support the children of the Nkanu West-born actor by offering educational opportunities that could help them become self-reliant in the absence of their father.<\/p>\n The former manager noted that Governor Peter Mbah has a reputation for caring about education and the welfare of vulnerable citizens.<\/p>\n He expressed hope that the governor would extend assistance to Mr Ibu\u2019s family, acknowledging the actor\u2019s contribution to the state\u2019s reputation across Africa and beyond.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have appealed for scholarship opportunities for the children, and will continue to do, so that something can be done.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHis Excellency, Gov.
