The Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilisation Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC<\/strong>) held its inaugural meeting on Monday in Abuja, barely weeks after it was inaugurated by President Bola Tinubu.<\/p>\n

Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the meeting took place at the Yobe State Governor\u2019s Lodge in the Federal Capital Territory and was hosted by the committee\u2019s chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Several governors and top party leaders attended the closed-door meeting, underscoring the importance the ruling party attached to the committee\u2019s mandate.<\/p>\n

Those present included Governors Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Siminalayi Fubara<\/strong> of Rivers State, Hyacinth Alia of Benue State, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Uba Sani of Kaduna State, and Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.<\/p>\n

Also in attendance were the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle; the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola; and former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.<\/p>\n

Other notable figures at the meeting were Senator Kabiru Marafa, former APC National Legal Adviser, Muiz Banire, and Ibrahim Masari, Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu <\/a>on Political Affairs.<\/p>\n

However, three governors who are members of the committee, Bassey Otu of Cross River State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, and Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, were absent from the meeting.<\/p>\n

Abia Radio News<\/strong> recalls that President Bola Tinubu<\/strong> inaugurated the Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilisation Committee on December 24, tasking its members with addressing lingering internal disputes within the APC.<\/p>\n

The President also mandated the committee to strengthen the party\u2019s mobilisation efforts across the country ahead of future political engagements.<\/p>\n

The inaugural meeting is believed to have focused on setting the committee\u2019s working framework and strategies for reconciling aggrieved members and consolidating the party\u2019s structures nationwide.<\/p>\n
