Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid<\/strong> has fired back at Seun Kuti<\/strong> over comparisons to the late Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> recalls that the conflict started when Seun Kuti rejected comparisons between Wizkid and his father, saying words like, Wizkid is \u201cbigger\u201d or \u201cmore influential\u201d diminish Fela\u2019s legacy.<\/p>\n He argued that Fela\u2019s impact as a political and cultural activist goes beyond music success alone.<\/p>\n Seun has also criticized Wizkid\u2019s fans for repeatedly referencing Fela in online debates, describing their behaviour as disrespectful.<\/p>\n Seun further pointed out that equating modern commercial success with Fela\u2019s historical influence shows a misunderstanding of history.<\/p>\n While acknowledging Wizkid\u2019s achievements as an artiste, Seun questioned why people feel the need to claim he is greater than Fela.<\/p>\n He also raised concerns about Wizkid\u2019s use of the nickname \u201cBig Bird,\u201d claiming it was previously associated with him and should not be copied.<\/p>\n In response, Wizkid took to Instagram to assert his position, saying that he rejects the comparisons to Fela and considers himself bigger in terms of modern success.<\/p>\n He wrote: \u201cPussy boy @bigbirdkuti ok I big pass your papa!!
