{"id":240075,"date":"2026-01-23T06:19:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T06:19:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/its-a-spiritual-problem-only-god-can-solve-it-pastor-ibiyeomie-speaks-on-fubara-wike-rift\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T06:19:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T06:19:17","slug":"its-a-spiritual-problem-only-god-can-solve-it-pastor-ibiyeomie-speaks-on-fubara-wike-rift","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/its-a-spiritual-problem-only-god-can-solve-it-pastor-ibiyeomie-speaks-on-fubara-wike-rift\/","title":{"rendered":"It\u2019s a Spiritual Problem, Only God Can Solve It \u2014 Pastor Ibiyeomie Speaks on Fubara\u2013Wike Rift"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"250\">The General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has described the prolonged political crisis between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as a spiritual issue.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"460\">Ibiyeomie, who leads the Port Harcourt\u2013based church, said there is nothing any human effort can do to resolve the conflict, insisting that only divine intervention can bring an end to the political stalemate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"902\">Speaking to members of his congregation in a video that has since gone viral, the cleric traced a pattern of political fallouts among successive leaders in Rivers State.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"902\">He recalled that former governor Peter Odili fell out with his political benefactor, Rufus Ada George; Chibuike Amaechi later fought Odili, who helped him become governor; Wike battled Amaechi, his political mentor; and now Fubara is locked in a confrontation with Wike.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"1020\">According to Ibiyeomie, the cycle would continue even if Fubara were to choose a successor at the end of his tenure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1174\">\u201cBecause if God speaks to me, I will say it. No mortal man, I repeat, can solve the problem of Rivers State. No mortal man. It\u2019s not a physical problem.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1361\">\u201cHas the President been able to solve it? No. I will give you a story so you can understand. I\u2019m a man of God. Ada George was a governor and Peter Odili was under him. Odili fought him.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1567\">\u201cAmaechi was Odili\u2019s boy; Amaechi fought him. Wike was Amaechi\u2019s boy; Wike fought him. Sim was the boy to Wike and they are fighting. It can never be solved by any physical man, except by the hand of God.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1794\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\u201cThis is because it\u2019s not a physical problem. Even if Sim picks somebody today, the person will fight him.
