Tinubu <\/a>in the 2027 election.<\/span><\/p>\nSpeaking as a guest on Mic On with Seun Okinbaloye on Saturday, the Minister said that while she respects Atiku as a father figure, he remains only a formidable opposition to the current administration of President Tinubu.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cI don\u2019t think he (Atiku) is a match, I think he is a formidable opponent. But I do not think in 2027 that Vice President Atiku Abubakar as much as I admire him and he is such a great patriot, you know, he is like a father to mine, I would say. But I don\u2019t think he is a match for President Tinubu,\u201d Musawa said.<\/span><\/p>\nAsked whether both Atiku and Obi\u2019s joint ticket would be a match in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election against the incumbent, Musawa reminded the host that the Obidients have vowed never to support anyone but their candidate, Obi.<\/span><\/p>\nShe said, \u201cSo, the Obidients have vowed not to support Obi as a vice presidential candidate. That\u2019s going to upset a lot of Obidients because they are not really willing to take Peter Obi as a vice presidential candidate, are they? <\/span><\/p>\n\u201cSo that\u2019s gonna upset a lot of people, a lot of people are gonna eat crow, that said they wouldn\u2019t support Peter Obi if he became vice presidential candidate,\u201d Musawa added.<\/span><\/p>\nFurther addressing the possibility of Atiku contesting in the 2027 presidential election, Musa said that would be a show of lack of understanding of power rotation with the coalition leaders and their party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cAnd if it is the other way round, if Peter Obi is on the ticket, then that is the fastest way the opposition is going to lose this (2027) election, I promise you.
