The Presidency has reacted to President Bola Tinubu\u2019s brief fall in Turkey, assuring Nigerians that he is hale and hearty and emphasising that he has no underlying health issues.<\/p>\n

The statement follows an incident in T\u00fcrkiye during which the president stumbled and fell briefly while on a state visit.<\/p>\n

According to the Presidency, the mishap was due to a poorly laid blue carpet.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Tinubu <\/a>has since resumed his official duties. He is currently engaged in a bilateral meeting with Turkish authorities, after which a press conference will be held,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n

According to an earlier report by Abia Radio News, the president lost his footing while exchanging pleasantries with officials during the parade organised in his honour. He was subsequently helped back to his feet by several men.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
