The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), 2023 presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso<\/strong>, has declared that Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf,\u00a0will regret his decision to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n

Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Kwankwaso, during an interview with BBC Hausa, said Yusuf will not be re-elected in 2027.<\/p>\n

According to Kwankwaso, the party never expected such betrayal from Governor Yusuf.<\/p>\n

The former Governor of Kano State added that Yusuf<\/strong> lost his re-election bid the moment former APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, raised his hand.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWe never expected this kind of betrayal from Governor Abba. He will regret his decision.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe moment Ganjude raises his hand, he has already lost the election. Let him first say we didn\u2019t allow him to govern, we will give him an answer\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in an interview with Arise News on Tuesday, the Secretary of the NNPP Board of Trustees,\u00a0Buba Galadima<\/strong>, said Yusuf\u2019s alignment with former Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, a long\u2011time rival of NNPP leader Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, amounted to a betrayal of the political movement that delivered him power.<\/p>\n

Galadima said when asked whether the defection served Kano,\u00a0\u201cHis own personal interest, personal, personal, personal.<\/em><\/p>\n
