The media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike<\/strong>, Lere Olayinka, has slammed a certain Ibadan politician after the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, made a remark about vagabonds expelled from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong>\u00a0reports that Makinde made the declaration on Tuesday during the unveiling of the Oyo State PDP Secretariat in Ibadan, the state capital.<\/p>\n Explaining recent developments within the party, the Governor invoked a Yoruba proverb to describe the internal crisis<\/strong> that had long plagued the PDP.<\/p>\n \u201cIn Yoruba land, we always say that if you see a house or a compound that is peaceful, the vagabond in that house has not grown up,<\/em>\u201d Makinde said.<\/p>\n He traced the group\u2019s emergence to the period after the PDP lost power at the federal level in 2015, which he said created a leadership vacuum.<\/p>\n However, Lere Olayinka, in a post on his official Facebook page, described the unnamed Ibadan politicians as political vagabonds always ready to sacrifice anything, including friendship.<\/p>\n Olayinka also recalled the various defections of the poltician in the bid to get a party\u2019s ticket.<\/p>\n He wrote, \u201cThere is this political vagabond in Ibadan.
