Tinubu <\/a>on the attacks in Kaiama and thanked him for the swift establishment of Operation Savannah Shield.<\/p>\n\u201cThe President has directed the armed forces to move in, and to clean up the place and make sure peace and calm is restored,\u201d the governor said.<\/p>\n
AbdulRazaq added that the operation would go a long way in deterring further attacks and bringing stability to the affected communities.<\/p>\n
He also noted that the first commander of Operation Savannah Shield had already reported in Ilorin and commenced work.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that the state government would continue to rely on the military and other security agencies to stabilise the area.<\/p>\n
