Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, as his oga (boss).<\/p>\n
Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the governor made this known on Tuesday while inspecting ongoing projects in the state.<\/p>\n Fubara said: \u201cFrom your own observation, not just mine alone, they\u2019ve achieved a lot and in the course of our discussion they are still assuring us that by October this year they will deliver the project. <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSo in my assessment what they need is the fund and from my own end is the push. I strongly believe that this promise that we made to our people will deliver in October, God willing.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cFor me, this project is very important considering the person who conceived it, my oga, honourable minister. He had a very big vision. He believed that if I achieve this project at record time then the rest of the people will be happy with me.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSo I also, notwithstanding whatever is happening, it is also my wish and my struggle to ensure that that wish comes to be.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Wike had earlier confirmed an end to the rift between himself and the governor.<\/p>\n The minister noted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s role as a unifying figure whose leadership was essential in addressing the friction between the state\u2019s executive and legislative arms.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cThe president is the father of the nation, and when a father speaks, his children must listen and do the needful to ensure peace and progress.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe most important thing is for Rivers State to move forward, and we are grateful to Mr President for his tireless commitment to ensuring that we reach this understanding.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, as his oga (boss).
