Nigerian music icon, Tuface Idibia, better known as 2Baba<\/strong>, has admitted\u00a0that juggling his music career with raising his children has been one of his toughest personal challenges.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the award-winning singer made this known during an interview with Voice of Nigeria, where he spoke about his responsibilities as a father and the weight of stardom.<\/p>\n 2Baba stated that he feels blessed and happy about having eight children, but the inability to spend time with them makes him sad.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cI have eight kids now. I feel blessed and happy, but the sadness comes from the fact that I haven\u2019t gotten to spend the type of time I should have spent with them collectively. It does something to me sometimes.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re amazing, brilliant people. I just wish I was there more. It touches me from all corners.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The legendary singer also dismissed widespread assumptions surrounding his private life, stressing that he is not a womaniser but\u00a0a lover boy.<\/p>\n He stated, \u201cThe biggest misconception about me is that I\u2019m a womanizer. I like women; I\u2019m just straightforward. But I\u2019m a lover boy. I love hard.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n He also responded to public commentary about his wife, Natasha, particularly suggestions that she is overly controlling or significantly influences his decisions.<\/p>\n According to the singer, such claims are often far removed from the truth of their relationship.<\/p>\n 2Baba noted, \u201cEverybody has a say in everybody\u2019s business now. Sometimes people say very nasty things.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cYou grow thick skin, but sometimes it gets to you. Reality is reality, she\u2019s a brilliant woman, a strong woman.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n 2Baba further explained that he is naturally shy despite performing on some of the world\u2019s biggest stages.<\/p>\n He added, \u201cMy profession doesn\u2019t permit me to be shy, but I\u2019m actually a very shy person.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSometimes I just want to be alone and chill. Other times I want to hang out.
