Some policemen have arrested Nollywood actor<\/strong>, Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, popularly known as Stanley Ontop.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Stanley made this known in a post shared via his Instagram story on Friday.<\/p>\n Stanley, who is studying law at Dennis Osadebe University in Asaba, Delta State, said he was arrested within the school premises over a petition from an unknown person.<\/p>\n The actor questioned the school authorities for allowing the police to arrest him without a prior invitation.<\/p>\n He wrote, \u201cSome policemen came to my school this afternoon to arrest me over a petition from an unknown person. Coming to school to arrest me, the school authorities and the government must be aware of this lawlessness.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHow can you invade a university to perfect my arrest, what happened to an invitation?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Recall that Nollywood actor\u00a0Frederick Leonard<\/strong> recently filed a petition against Stanley Ontop over alleged defamation of character.<\/strong><\/p>\n The petition, dated January 28, 2026, was sent to the Delta State Police Command through Leonard\u2019s lawyers, Uche Okoro & Co.<\/p>\n In the document, the actor accused Stanley Ontop of making repeated statements that damaged his reputation without any provocation for more than two years.<\/p>\n Leonard also claimed that the filmmaker had been spreading stories that painted him in a bad light, which he said had created a wrong public image about him.<\/p>\n He maintained that the actions were deliberate and harmful to his personal and professional life.<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Some policemen have arrested Nollywood actor, Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, popularly known as Stanley Ontop.
