Nollywood comic actor, Bamidele Tope Saint, popularly known as Okemesi<\/strong>, has been confirmed dead.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Okemesi died after spending a few hours in a coma following complications from drugs administered to him at the hospital<\/strong>\u00a0that treated him earlier.<\/p>\n While narrating how Okemesi was rejected by various hospitals, including government health facilities in Igodo, Jeff appealed to Nigerians for prayers and for financial assistance for the ailing actor.<\/p>\n Announcing his death in a video shared on Instagram, Nollywood actor, Jeff Owolewa, better known as Tony Montana, said Okemesi died at the hospital on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at about 11:50 a.m.<\/p>\n Jeff stated that the body of the movie star has been deposited in the mortuary.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cWith a heavy heart, I\u2019m announcing to the world that Okemesi is dead. The doctor pronounced him dead at exactly 11:50 a.m. this morning, February 24, 2026. Okemesi is gone.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSo, on behalf of the entire Bamidele family, I\u2019m announcing to the world that Oluwatope Bamidele Saint Okemesi is dead. We have taken the body to the morgue. I will communicate the rest of the arrangements to you guys. We appreciate every one of you who turned up for him.
