We were watching American shows and movies. It was fun,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n The singer further explained that although she had always wanted to experience life in the United States while growing up, the choice of location came down to convenience and time differences.<\/p>\n She noted that while Los Angeles was another option, the distance and time difference between the city and Nigeria influenced her decision.<\/p>\n \u201cAlso, growing up, I had always wanted to come to America. So which city would I want to go? LA is too far, the time difference with Nigeria is nine hours.
