Veteran Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi<\/strong>, has spoken about the public criticism and backlash that followed her role in the 1996 controversial movie, Glamour Girls 2.<\/p>\n Naija News<\/strong> reports that Eucharia, during a recent interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, said some people failed to understand that her role as Anita, a wild and promiscuous escort in the movie, was not her real personality.<\/p>\n According to the thespian, after featuring in the movie, some people began to associate her with Anita\u2019s personality and labelled her a \u2018husband snatcher and mammy water\u2019.<\/p>\n Eucharia Anunobi<\/strong> added that many people saw her as seductress, forgetting that she only acted a script.<\/p>\n The movie star revealed she was paid extra for the sizzling bathtub scene with Zack Orji in the film.<\/p>\n She said, \u201cI faced a lot of backlash for my role in Glamour Girls 2. You know, at that time the Nigerian populace pretended that they don\u2019t watch such movies. So, a lot of people were labelling me. They called me Sharon Stone, Mammy Water, Husband Snatcher.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe character I played was a student who snatched a wealthy man from his wife. So, a lot of people were seeing me as a seductress. Well, I am very alluring.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t deny that because if I deny myself that means I am denying God. A lot of people were like that leave your man with Eucharia, she\u2019s going to take him away.
