Nigerian singer Portable has stirred controversy by questioning the career trajectories of artistes who leave Mavin Records.<\/p>\n
Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that in a video that quickly went viral, he suggested a partnership with music executive Don Jazzy and raised doubts about why some former signees no longer dominate the music scene.<\/p>\n Portable singled out popular artistes linked to the label, claiming that even rising star Rema has lost prominence while noting that Tiwa Savage remains successful.<\/p>\n He directly called on Don Jazzy to collaborate with him, implying that proper guidance from the label could boost his career.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cDon Jazzy, why is it that everyone who leaves your label don\u2019t reign again? Come and package me and let\u2019s partner.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cEven Rema is no more reigning.
