Veteran Nollywood actor<\/strong>, Davis Offor, popularly known for his role as Clarus in the iconic sitcom \u2018The New Masquerade\u2019, is dead.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Nollywood actor, Tony Akposheri, announced Offor\u2019s demise in an emotional tribute on his Facebook page on Tuesday.<\/p>\n While expressing sadness over the death, Akposheri, who starred alongside Offor as Zacky in the popular series that defined an era of Nigerian television, recalled\u00a0their recent moments together.<\/p>\n According to him, Offor was full of life and hope when they last met earlier this year, describing the late actor as more than just a colleague, but a friend, brother, man with warmth, humour, and a presence that could light up any space.<\/p>\n He noted that Offor\u2019s sudden death has left a painful void, making it difficult to come to terms with the loss of someone he had spoken with only recently.<\/p>\n He wrote, \u201cToday, my heart is heavy. Davis Offor, fondly known as Clarus from New Masquerade, is gone.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe crossed into the New Year together, laughing, talking, sharing memories, and speaking hopefully about the days ahead. None of us knew that time was already counting differently for you.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cYou were more than a familiar face on screen. You were a friend, a brother, a man with warmth, humour, and a presence that could light up any space.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt is hard to believe that the voice I heard not long ago is now a memory.
