The Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN) has dismissed reports about banning the music of Grammy-awarding singer, Burna Boy, from playlists <\/strong>following a recent physical altercation between him and DJ Tunez.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the DJAN National President, Prince Akim Edeh, in a statement issued on Thursday, described the reports as false and misleading, advising media platforms to stop spreading the falsehood.<\/p>\n The association distanced itself from the reports and condemned the unauthorised use of its logo to support the misleading claims.<\/strong><\/p>\n DJAN maintained that the association is monitoring ongoing investigations into the incident and remains committed to fostering a healthy music environment.<\/p>\n The association also revealed that DJ Tunez is not a registered member of DJAN, adding that it did not ban Burna Boy\u2019s music and has no intention of doing so.<\/p>\n The statement added, \u201cWe noted with grave concern reports surrounding a recent incident involving a Disc Jockey and Burna Boy. As a body dedicated to the growth and integrity of the entertainment industry, we maintain a firm and unwavering stance against any form of violence or physical confrontation.
