Nigerian singer Charles Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon<\/strong>, has shared details about a difficult period in his life when he battled mental health issues and stepped away from music.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that he made this known on Friday, during a live conversation with streamer Carter Efe, where he spoke about the challenges he faced in 2022 and how he managed to recover.<\/p>\n According to him, the situation came from pressure on different sides, including expectations from his family and demands within the music industry.<\/p>\n He said the stress took a toll on his well-being and led to a serious health condition that required medical attention and a long period of therapy.<\/p>\n He explained that he was admitted for treatment and spent time focusing on his recovery before returning to his music career.<\/p>\n After getting better, he resumed work and released songs, including Labalaba and Overloading, marking his comeback.<\/p>\n The singer said the experience changed him and helped him regain stability before continuing his journey in the industry.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cIn 2022, I had mental health issues from all sort of stress; family, industry, trying to be number one stress.
