During his time in the House, he held the influential position of Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary. <\/p>\n<p>His colleagues often looked to him for guidance on complex legal matters, as he was considered a master of his craft. <\/p>\n<p>Rotimi further remarked that \u201cwith his demise, Nigeria has lost one of its foremost Legislative Counsel and Legal Draftsmen, whose contributions significantly advanced legislative development and constitutional processes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The late lawmaker was not a stranger to the inner workings of the National Assembly. Long before he was elected to represent his people, he served within the administrative arm of the legislature. He climbed the professional ladder within the National Assembly bureaucracy, eventually reaching the peak of his career as a Permanent Secretary. <\/p>\n<p>The Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, has offered his condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Kano State. He described Hassan as a dedicated public servant who served his country with integrity. <\/p>\n<p>Final funeral arrangements have been set for Saturday, where he will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions.
