Popular reality TV star, Tega Dominic,<\/strong>\u00a0has cautioned Nigerians against participating in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) show if they are not mentally strong.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Tega, while speaking about her post-show experience in an interview with \u2018Draft Africa\u2019, said she would not recommend the BBNaija show to anyone close to her.<\/p>\n The reality star revealed that after participating in the 2021 \u2018Shine Ya Eye\u2019 edition, her anxiety worsened, making it difficult for her to go to public spaces alone.<\/p>\n According to Tega, her routine activities had become overwhelming, and certain forms of physical interaction remained difficult to process.<\/p>\n She said, \u201cI won\u2019t tell anybody close to me to go for Big Brother.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019re not mentally strong, don\u2019t go. I used to have anxiety before then, but it became worse. I had social anxiety. I can\u2019t go to spaces if I\u2019m alone. It got worse.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The former housemate added that the emotional pressure and sudden exposure that come with the show can be mentally exhausting, especially for individuals who are not psychologically prepared.<\/p>\n She added, \u201cI can give hugs, but I can\u2019t receive hugs.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI wear a face mask because I don\u2019t want to say hello to so many people.
