Nollywood actress and skit maker Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, has opened up on the reason she co-habited with her husband before marriage.<\/p>\n
Speaking during an interview with Toke Makinwa, she explained that as of the time they moved in together, they had already completed their traditional rites and were already preparing for the white wedding.<\/p>\n
She stated that her rent had expired as at that time and she decided to move in with her husband rather than renew her lease..<\/p>\n
\u201cBefore my husband and I got married, we lived together for about four months. My rent had expired, and we were getting married in January, so I said to myself, \u2018Why pay another rent?\u2019 People might judge it, but I wasn\u2019t going to waste money. We\u2019d already done our introduction. The church didn\u2019t know about it, and I used to sing in church that time,\u201d<\/em> she remarked.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Kiekie, has stated that she has set boundaries between her personal and professional life<\/p>\n Speaking at The Creative Blueprint 2.0, Kiekie explained that she doesn\u2019t feature her husband, Tunji Ilori, in her content because \u201che is not funny\u201d.<\/p>\n The actress added that she features her daughter Nola on her social media because \u201cshe is made for the camera\u201d.<\/p>\n She, however, clarified that there is a limit to how she features her daughter in her content, stressing that she only creates content with her during academic breaks.<\/p>\n She emphasised the need for content creators and celebrities to set boundaries between their brand and personal lives.<\/p>\n \u201cI have created a very thick line between what is personal to me as Oluwabukunmi Adeaga Ilori and what is personal to my brand as Kiekie. What are the elements of my brand? Event and TV host, actor, and content creator. What is my content? Comic,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n Kiekie strongly advocated for restraint among content creators, especially as regards to featuring their family members in their content or social media.<\/p>\n \u201cWe overmilk viral moments until it becomes annoying.
