Abia <\/a>State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Elder Abraham Amah, following his election as state chairman.<\/p>\nAdiele alleged that during the gathering, the PDP chairman criticised some elected officials who won under the PDP platform but later distanced themselves from the party, including Hon. Nkwonta, describing them as ungrateful.<\/p>\n
He claimed that after the event, the lawmaker accused him of failing to challenge the PDP chairman during the meeting and subsequently severed ties with him.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom that day, he stopped communicating with me and also stopped paying my salary,\u201d Adiele alleged.<\/p>\n
The former aide said several efforts made to resolve the matter amicably, including requests for either payment of his salaries or formal disengagement from service, yielded no result.<\/p>\n
Adiele further alleged that tensions worsened after he raised concerns over accountability in the execution of a constituency project facilitated by the lawmaker.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that he was later served a legal notice directing him to appear before an FCT High Court, Court 59, Asokoro, Abuja, on June 3, 2026.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on his service period, Adiele stated that he used his personal vehicle for official assignments, including transporting aides, adding that the vehicle eventually broke down after prolonged use.<\/p>\n
He claimed that although he was promised a replacement vehicle, the promise was never fulfilled.<\/p>\n
\u201cInstead of being compensated for my sacrifices, I am now facing a lawsuit,\u201d he lamented.<\/p>\n
The suit filed before the FCT High Court accused Adiele of making false and damaging statements on social media regarding the handling of constituency projects.<\/p>\n
Hon. Nkwonta reportedly alleged that Adiele\u2019s claims, particularly allegations that his biological children were used as incorporated trustees in the management of a federal government project, caused significant reputational damage.<\/p>\n
Efforts to get the reaction of the lawmaker were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report, as calls placed to his phone were not answered.<\/p>\n
