The recognition makes him only the second Nigerian act to receive the honour after Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.<\/p>\n Organisers said the ceremony will take place on June 1 in Atlanta\u2019s Historic Westside. The initiative was created by the Black American Music Association and the Georgia Entertainment Caucus to celebrate figures who have shaped Black music and entertainment.<\/p>\n Davido joins a class that includes rapper Ludacris, gospel icon Paul S.
