{"id":243066,"date":"2026-06-16T23:51:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T23:51:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/ait-pledges-strategic-media-partnership-for-winsec-summit\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T23:51:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T23:51:07","slug":"ait-pledges-strategic-media-partnership-for-winsec-summit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/ait-pledges-strategic-media-partnership-for-winsec-summit\/","title":{"rendered":"AIT Pledges Strategic Media Partnership for WINSEC Summit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The African Independent Television (AIT) has pledged robust media support, including live coverage, for the maiden edition of the Women in Security Summit and Awards (WINSEC) 2026, reaffirming its commitment to promoting initiatives that advance national security and gender inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>The commitment was made during a courtesy visit by the leadership of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), led by its National Chairperson, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim, who also serves as Chairperson of the WINSEC Central Planning Committee, to the management of Daar Communications Plc, owners of AIT, in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Welcoming the delegation, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AIT, Chief Marcel Anyanyechi, commended NAWOJ for initiating a platform dedicated to celebrating the courage, sacrifice and outstanding contributions of women in Nigeria\u2019s security architecture.<\/p>\n<p>He described the Women in Security Summit and Awards as a timely and impactful initiative capable of inspiring patriotism, excellence and renewed commitment among security personnel and other stakeholders involved in safeguarding the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Anyanyechi stressed that addressing Nigeria\u2019s security challenges requires collaboration among the media, security agencies, government and citizens, emphasizing that national security remains a shared responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of AIT, he assured the WINSEC team of the station\u2019s unwavering support toward the successful hosting of the event.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, AIT will provide live coverage of the awards segment of the programme to enhance national visibility and audience engagement. The station will also deploy news crews for comprehensive coverage of the summit and awards ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Other areas of support include the airing of promotional materials across AIT platforms, scroll message announcements ahead of the event to boost public awareness, as well as technical assistance and professional guidance in producing broadcast-quality promotional content.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will work with you, partner with you and collaborate with you to ensure that the ceremony comes out successful.
