Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Dr. Desmond Chimaobi Anyaso, OFUJI, is set to deliver the keynote address today, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the annual conference of the University of Derby Law School in England.<\/p>\n
Dr. Anyaso will address an audience of global experts, academics, and professionals gathered to explore solutions to pressing societal and economic challenges through contemporary international economic law.<\/p>\n
According to the organisers, Dr. Anyaso was invited \u201cin recognition of his life achievements, his extension of opportunity to people, and his contributions to the advancement of society.\u201d<\/p>\n
Established in 1992, the University of Derby Law School has earned recognition as one of the United Kingdom\u2019s distinguished institutions of higher learning. The university holds a Gold ranking under the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023, placing it among the UK\u2019s top universities for outstanding student experience and outcomes.<\/p>\n
The institution is also ranked second in the UK for employability, with 94 percent of graduates either in employment or further study.<\/p>\n
