The Abia ADC made the disclosure in message sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, party members, Wards, Local Government, State Executive and the public.

A statement signed by Abia ADC Chairman, Mr. Don Norman Obinna referenced Appeal Court’s decision to uphold the status quo ante bellum, which led INEC to remove the David Mark-led National Working Committee from its website.

Obinna also explained that INEC had in obedience to the Court ruling, instructed ADC State officers not to oversee the supposed ADC State Congresses and National Convention.

He declared that the current tenure of the Abia State Ward, LGA, and State Executive in Abia remains in effect.

“Therefore, party members, leaders and stakeholders are urged to remain calm, stay positive, and promote the constructive message of ADC while refraining from acts that could disturb peace in their areas.

“Rest assured, efforts are ongoing to revitalise the party and restore normalcy”, the Abia ADC Chairman said.

He promised to update the members of his party about any further development.
