Security operatives rescue girl who was tricked online by criminals, robbed, tied to a tree

Security operatives have rescued a young girl who was allegedly tricked by some criminals she met online only to be robbed of her belongings and tied to a tree.

In a video that has been trending on Monday, the incident happened in Delta State and according to the victim who gave her name as Anthonia Ovarayi, she was lured by some men she met online from her base in Ughelli to go and visit them in Warri.

According to her, the visit turned out to become her nightmare as the men took her to a forest where they robbed her of all her belongings and forced her to transfer all the money in her account to them before tying her to a tree and fleeing the scene.
