The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, has advised members of Abia Arise across the state to stay united and work towards shared goals to achieve real and lasting development.
Dr. Meribole said this when members of Abia Arise from Umuahia North visited him in his office. He noted that the current administration, led by Governor Dr. Alex Otti, has made noticeable progress in important areas of the state’s economy, especially in education and business.
He encouraged the group to continue supporting the government and assured them that their requests would be carefully considered in line with the government’s development plans.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, stressed the need for unity among members and urged them to keep working together in support of Governor Otti’s vision for a better Abia State.
In his remarks, the State Secretary of Abia Arise, Dr. Ibeleme Sylvester, encouraged members to remain dedicated, committed, and consistent in promoting the goals of the group.
Earlier, the Coordinator of Urban Ward 11 and leader of the Abia Arise Umuahia North delegation, Mr. Kingsley Emenike, praised Governor Otti for the progress made since he took office and called for continued support to improve governance and service delivery.
