Carter Efe Floors Portable’s Title Hopes, Emerges New Celebrity Boxing Champion

Social media comedian Carter Efe defeated street artiste Portable by unanimous decision to claim the celebrity boxing title at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event in Lagos.

The bout, held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, saw Efe dominate across all three rounds.

All three judges scored the contest 27-30 in favour of Efe, handing Portable his first defeat in celebrity boxing.

The result also ended Portable’s reign as the celebrity boxing champion.

Portable had entered the fight unbeaten, having previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to win two belts.

Ahead of the bout, he had expressed confidence in securing a third title.

“I will use you to collect my third belt… I will beat you now,” he said.

Efe had dismissed Portable’s confidence before the fight.

“One punch and you fall,” he said.

He went on to back up his statement with a composed performance in the ring.

In the opening round, Portable started aggressively, throwing wild punches, but Efe absorbed the pressure and responded with effective counterattacks.

The second round saw Efe improve further, landing cleaner combinations as Portable struggled to connect with his wide shots.

The third round followed a similar pattern, with Efe maintaining control until the final bell.

The victory confirmed Carter Efe as the new celebrity boxing champion, marking a major upset in the entertainment boxing scene.
