Ishowspeed’s Tour: ‘We Really Stripped Lagos Naked’ – Kunle Remi

Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi, has shared his observation about the ongoing tour by American YouTuber, Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed.

Abia Radio News recalls that the streamer recently visited Lagos State, Nigeria, as part of his ongoing Africa tour, and he is currently in Ghana.

In a post via his Instagram page, Kunle Remi described IShow Speed’s visit to Nigeria as the worst on his list, stressing that Nigerians stripped Lagos State naked.

According to the movie star, the essence of culture has been lost, and people have prioritised asking for help.

He wrote, “After watching Ishowspeed’s journey so far, Nigeria is the worst on my own list. We just really stripped Lagos naked… no be say anything dey under the clothes before sha. 

“Seems like we have lost the essence of culture. our truth! All we have is fake drinks and beggy, beggy skills.”

Meanwhile, iShowSpeed has explained why he is not working with content creators during his ongoing tour across Africa.

The YouTuber said the tour was designed to show the culture of different African countries rather than focus on online collaborations.

According to him, the main goal is to show daily life, street performers with talent, and local people who are rarely seen on global platforms.

Speed explained that each stop on the tour is planned ahead by his team and follows a strict timetable.

He said there are fixed places he must visit in every country and very little time to change the schedule.
