I’ve Been Scared Of Women – Zubby Michael Opens Up On Why He’s Still Single
Nollywood Actor Zubby Michael has spoken on why he chose not to enter into relationships in the early stage of his acting career.
Abia Radio News reports that in an interview on Broadway TV, he said the decision was intentional as he wanted to fully focus on building himself in the movie industry without distractions.
He explained that during his time working in Asaba, he put all his energy into acting and career growth. According to him, being in a relationship at that period could have affected his focus and slowed down his progress because emotional issues might interfere with his work.
Zubby also made it clear that his choice was not because he had a negative view about women.
He said it was more about timing and staying disciplined while trying to establish himself in the industry.
He added that relationships come with emotional demands and responsibilities that can affect productivity if not properly managed.
For him at the time, it was better to avoid that kind of distraction and concentrate fully on his goals.
The actor noted that things have now changed in his life. He said he is more stable now and has achieved personal milestones, including owning a house. Because of this, he feels more open to the idea of love and relationships than before.
He said, “I’ve been scared of women, I’ve been working hard but now I want to give it a chance. Since I dey work I no…- cause it can destr0y this thing. Maybe had it been I get girlfriend I fit no reach here. Cause if you disturb me mentally it will affect my work.
