Nigerians Wouldn’t Drag Osimhen if He Were Ronaldo – Tacha

Nigerian reality TV star, Tacha has weighed in on the criticism facing Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen after his on-field clash with teammate Ademola Lookman during Nigeria’s game against Mozambique.

Abia Radio News reports that the incident happened after Nigeria’s strong win, when both players were seen exchanging words on the pitch before others stepped in.

Reacting on social media, Tacha called on Nigerians to calm down and stop dragging the Napoli forward.

She stated that Osimhen should be seen as one of Nigeria’s biggest football stars, the same way people rate Cristiano Ronaldo.

She added that if Ronaldo had acted the same way on the field, there would not be this level of outrage.

Tacha also said she believes Osimhen gives everything for the national team and that the clash came from passion and drive during the match.

According to her, fans should stop acting like they have “seen him finish” and learn to support their own players instead of tearing them down.

She went further to challenge critics by saying the coach could even try benching Osimhen in the next match so people can “check something,” signaling how much value the striker brings to the attack.
