‘Nothing Must Happy To Her’ – Stanley Ontop Raises Alarm Over Plot To Re-arrest Angela Okorie
Popular Nollywood filmmaker cum actor, Stanley Ontop, has alleged that there are ongoing plans to re-arrest his colleague, actress Angela Okorie, after her release from prison.
Abia Radio News recalls that Angela was recently arrested and remanded in Suleja Prison for allegedly defaming Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson.
Angela, who was granted bail last Friday by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, however, remains in prison after her bail condition was processed late.
In a post via his social media page on Tuesday, Stanley confirmed that Angela will soon regain her freedom from prison.
The thespian further disclosed that some police officers have been stationed at the front of Suleja Prison following a fresh petition against Angela.
While calling out the Nigerian Police for lack of professionalism, Stanley added that nothing must happen to Angela upon her release.
He wrote, “Angela Okorie will be out in few minutes, there was a delay in the verification of her surety’s residential address yesterday. But the court has signed for her release now!
“We got an info that there’s a fresh petition against Angela Okorie and that some police men are stationed in front of Suleja Prison to apprehend her again immediately she’s released from the prison. May Nigeria never happen to you.
“@nigeriapoliceforce na like this una take dey work? What happened to invitation? Why are you people arresting citizens you are meant to protect? Make nothing shaa happen to Angela Okorie on her release day.”
