Road Users, Residents Applaud Gov Otti as Orpet–Ikwuano–Ikot Ekpene Road Reconstruction Progresses

The ongoing construction of the drainage system along Orpet Ikwuano Ikot Ekpene road Umuahia has continued to attract commendations from road users and residents.

Speaking to our Correspondent ifeanyi Ogbonna on the expansion and reconstruction of the road, the road users and residents, including Mr Onwuka Kalu, Chimezie Ogbonna and Anthony Onyenkwere commended the state Governor, Dr Alex Otti for awarding the reconstruction of the road.

They noted that the ongoing work on the road has brought joy and relief to people making use of the road and residents, who hitherto complained over the dilapidated condition of the road.

The equally expressed happiness on the quality of the drainage system being undertaken on the road by the contractor handling the road reconstruction.

According to them the actualisation of the road will enhance economic activities along the axis, and seamless interstate movement and lauded the present administration in the state for its commitment to the infrastructural development of the state.
