‘We Want To Get Tinubu Out Of Power’ – ADC Spokesperson, Abdullahi

The Spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has expressed optimism that President Bola Tinubu will be removed from power in 2027.

Abia Radio News reports that Abullahi made this known during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme on Friday.

Abdullahi clarified that the ADC is not desperate, but that it is important to get Tinubu out of power to take back the country.

According to him, the country has been hijacked by the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government, adding that most of the statements of those in power are similar to those of bandits.

He said, ”We want to get Tinubu out of power. That’s the only way we’re going to do it. Not desperately, because it is only by getting him out of power that we can take our country back. There is no way Tinubu will remain in power and we get the county back. The country has been hijacked.

“Look at the statements of those in government, snatch it and run with it. That is the language of banditry. This is the first time we are hearing about a government that can forge a deal, part of the law. The same government paid $9 million to lobbyists to make them look good before the United States president, Donald Trump.”
