Wife to popular Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma, Kris Asimoye has disclosed that her husband advised her against changing her name after marriage.

The businesswoman, who shares 3 children with her comedian husband, disclosed this on Instagram.

She stated that she did not fully understand the reason for his advice at the time.

However, Asimoye said she now fully understands her husband because she can build her business brand under her name.

She wrote: “When I got married, my husband encouraged me not to change my last name. At the time, I did not fully understand why.

“Now, building Kris Asimonye as a brand, I understand completely.”
