Popular Nollywood Actor, Okemesi Battling For Life – Owolewa

Nollywood comic actor cum content creator, Bamidele Tope Saint, popularly known as Okemesi, is reportedly battling for his life in a coma following complications from the drugs he was given in a hospital.

Abia Radio News learnt that this latest development comes barely two days after Okemesi moved into a new apartment rented for him by the public.

Recall that Okemesi recently solicited financial assistance after suffering from a sickness that left him homeless.

However, Nollywood actor, Jeff Owolewa, better known as Tony Montana, in a post via his Instagram page, disclosed that Okemesi has been hospitalised again following complications from the drugs given to him by a hospital that treated him earlier.

While narrating how Okemesi was rejected by various hospitals, including government health facilities in Igodo, Jeff appealed to Nigerians for prayers and for financial assistance for the ailing actor.

He said, “Guys, Okemesi has been hospitalised again. He was sleeping all through Saturday and Sunday without having much appetite for food due to complications from the drugs that were given to him from the hospital when he was discharged last week.

“I rushed to his house very early on Monday to take him to hospital. He was rejected in different hospitals including a government hospital in Igodo, the doctor refused to attend to him saying there’s no bed space. I have to take him back to the first private hospital that started his treatment. So they admitted him, and stabilised him.

“His breathing is improving. So, he has been in coma since Monday morning. They have placed him on oxygen. We’re all praying that he gets back on track.”
